Hometown: I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and moved to Houston, TX at the age of 7, which is where I grew up.

Bachelor of Arts from Texas A & M University
ESL (K-12) teaching certificate through University of St. Thomas and HISD ACP
Masters of Education with emphasis in School Counseling

Ministry Background: My journey and walk with Christ began as a young child. I grew up attending church on Sundays. I have an uncle who is a priest in Monterrey, Mx. who will celebrate his 27th year of priesthood this August 15th. He has been a blessing to our family and a role model for me in my spiritual life. Thanks to my parents, I got involved in attending retreats since middle school and even today I enjoy and long for retreats. For years I enjoyed being a part of youth groups as a teenager and young adult.
It was then that the seed of faith that was planted in me long before, began to blossom and grow more and more throughout the years. As a result, my relationship with Jesus is very profound. I feel that I am extremely loved by Him. I love prayer in the form of writing; it is a passion of mine that helps me express how I feel about God. I am excited to see what God has in store for me here at CCFM.
Passions & Interests: I am blessed with a wonderful husband to whom I have been married for 16 years. We have three beautiful kids (Carolina, Victoria and Santiago) and enjoy spending time together as a family. I love listening to different types of music, reading faith based books (especially the lives of saints), writing prayers, sharing my faith and love for Christ with others, enjoy painting on canvas (it relaxes me), and I would love to learn to play guitar. I like to watch movies and Netflix.
