About Us
CCFM's mission is to connect youth with Christ while providing the support and training that youth ministers need.
Why CCFM?
Our Mission
Catholic youth yearn for a real relationship with Christ and to experience the depth of His Catholic Church. However, many parishes are unable to budget for an effective youth ministry program. And youth ministers frequently leave ministry burnt out and broken because of a lack of training and support. CCFM provides the formation that both youth and youth ministers need.
What We Do
CCFM provides high-quality youth ministry programs for parishes. We do everything from organizing events to hiring the youth ministers. Our team puts on two weekly Bible studies for students as well as annual events and monthly prayer nights. Visit our programs page to learn more!
Benefits to Parishes
Because CCFM runs mainly on donations, we can offer our programs to parishes for a much lower cost than a traditional youth ministry. In a traditional ministry, the church would have to pay for all of the events, materials like Bible studies, and the youth minister's salary. But CCFM provides our services for only five percent of the parish's monthly donations. This averages to about $250/ministry/month for the parish.
CCFM's ministry is high-quality and high-impact because of our unique, community-oriented style. Regardless of which parish they serve, all of our youth ministers spend at least four days a week at our central Bryan office. This allows everyone on our team to work together, support each other, and learn from each other so that no one becomes burnt out or broken. The result is dedicated and fully-formed youth ministers who are equipped to serve your parish with the love and power of Christ.
Our Parishes
CCFM currently serves four parishes and one high school. If you want to join a ministry or bring CCFM to your parish, contact Matt Rice at mrice@collaborativecatholics.org or (214) 405-6288.

Our Beliefs
Foundation of Matthew 7:24
There is power in prayer
Truth comes first (at all costs)
Do not be an empty vessel;
the ministry leader must be filled and formed before the ministry can be formed
Provide knowledge to help them grow and bring them to an encounter with Jesus
Parents and volunteers must be supported to make an impact in the life of the youth
Discipleship & Disciplemakers: minister to the whole person
He must increase, we must decrease
Leaders must have servant hearts
Team model of youth ministry
Catholicism is the fullness of truth
Professionalism and theological formation
Be a good steward of God’s resources; don’t bury your talents
The formation of the minister never ends
Meet people where they are, in relational ministry
