Ministry: Middle school Ignite at St. Mary’s in Caldwell
Ministry Background: In high school, I fell in love with the Catholic faith at a Steubenville youth conference and became actively involved in my youth group as a result of this. I was part of a program called peer ministry within my youth group and helped lead small groups, plan youth nights, and put on retreats for our church. When I came to college, I knew that I wanted to continue this ministry, so I began volunteering at St. Joseph's in Bryan with the middle school Keysis program. At Keysis, I led a small group, gave talks, and staffed retreats. After staffing a retreat for the high school youth of Caldwell and seeing the ways God was working in that parish, I decided to join the Journey core team in Caldwell as well. Through working with these ministries, I found a passion for relational ministry and showing youth that they are loved and teaching them the truth of Christ. Youth ministry has taught me so much about my own faith and has helped me realize the deepness of God's love and patience.
Passions & Interests: I love being active and being outdoors. Playing sports, hiking, and running are

right up my alley. I also enjoy reading, painting, baking, and attempting to play the guitar. I love being inthe company of good friends and heart to heart conversations. I'm also a fan of rainy days, beaches, long road trips, flowers, and West Texas sunsets.
How did you become involved with CCFM and why? Through volunteering at St. Joseph's, I was able to work closely with the employees of CCFM and get to know them quite well. I had been considering youth ministry as a career path, but was never really sure if I had what it takes to lead youth to Christ. When a job opening at CCFM became available last spring, everything began to fall into place through the work of the Holy Spirit. Because the CCFM team knew me so well, they were able to see something in me that I hadn't quite seen myself. They approached me with the job opportunity, and after much prayer and discernment, it was clear that God was calling me to youth ministry. So far, it has been quite the adventure, and I am so excited for what the future holds. The support I have received from the entire CCFM team is unlike anything I have ever experienced. Their support has shaped me and helped me grow in countless ways not only as a youth minister, but as a person in general.
